Ingredients

You can certainly have these for breakfast,but we also like them for dinner, topped with something like chicken à la king.

2 cups (240 g) whole wheat pastry flour
4 teaspoons (18 g) baking powder
2 tablespoons (40 g) honey
1¾ cups (410 ml) skim milk
4 tablespoons (60 ml) canola oil
2 eggs

Wheat Waffles

Mix  dry  ingredients  together.  Stir  inremaining ingredients. For lighter waffles,separate  eggs.  Beat  egg  whites  andcarefully fold in. Pour into a waffle iron coated with nonstick vegetable oil spray.

Yield: 8 servings
