This easy-to-make snack mix is full of nuts and crunchy cereal.
1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter
1 cup (225 g) brown sugar
8 cups mini shredded wheat cereal
1 pound (455 g) pecans
Melt butter and brown sugar; boil 2minutes. Place cereal and nuts in two 9 ×13-inch (23 × 33 cm) cake pans. Pourbutter-sugar mixture over cereal-nutsmixture. Bake at 375°F (190°C, gas mark5) for 8 minutes. Stir occasionally. Storein covered container.
