Basically a sweet and spicy variation on the traditional cereal mix, this one is mostly nuts.
8 ounces (225 g) dry-roasted peanuts
8 ounces (225 g) dry-roasted cashews
6 ounces (170 g) almonds
2 cups (60 g) square wheat cereal, suchas Wheat Chex
¼ cup (55 g) unsalted butter, melted
1½ tablespoons (22 ml) soy sauce
1½ tablespoons (22 ml) Worcestershiresauce
¼ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 cup (145 g) raisins
Combine first 4 ingredients in a largebowl; stir well. Combine butter, soysauce, Worcestershire sauce, andTabasco; mix well and pour over nutmixture, tossing to coat. Spread half ofmixture in a 15 × 10 × 1-inch (37 × 25 ×2.5 cm) jelly-roll pan. Bake at 325°F(170°C, gas mark 3) for 15 minutes; cooland place in a large bowl. Repeat withremaining mixture. Add raisins and stirwell. Store in an airtight container.
