Ingredients

A  traditional  Middle  Eastern  dip  madewith chickpeas, this is a simple versionthat 

doesn’t  include  the  usual  tahinisesame butter. But don’t make the mistakeof 

thinking  that  it  is  short  on  flavorbecause it’s not.

Toasted pita triangles arethe perfect dippers for this.

Thoroughly process all ingredients in a blender.

Add additional cumin and cayenne pepper to taste.

Sprinkled with paprika; drizzle olive oil on top.

Yield: 16 servings
